Birdie and the Fire

With the bushfires making an impact on our area it can be difficult to help children understand what is happening and how it will be resolved in the end. Birdie and the Fire is a simple picture book freely available as an electronic resource that may help families through this difficult time.

Published by Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service the free electronic resources – Birdie’s Tree series have been designed to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children aged 0-4, their parents and families, through severe weather events and other natural disasters.
