Call for Donations

 Coming soon to Lithgow Library is an exciting new

Makerspace! Makerspaces are community spaces where people can gather to plan, design, build and create whatever they can imagine. In the coming months we will be creating our Makerspace, featuring LEGO and craft supplies, but would appreciate any donations of the following:

Any type of craft supplies

  • LEGO – old or unused LEGO pieces and kits
  • Old shampoo bottles, soap bottles etc
  • Egg cartons
  • Boxes, shoe boxes with lids
  • Old CD’s or DVD’s
  • Old books
  • Wool
  • Fabric or felt scraps
  • Containers
  • Marbles
  • Hula hoops
  • Straws
  • Buttons
  • Any old construction toys
  • Cardboard
  • Crayons
  • Paper plates

If you have something you feel would be used but isn’t on the list please bring it in! All donations can be dropped at Lithgow Library.

Every child who donates something will go into the draw to win a prize!! Prize will be drawn on Friday 17th July 2015, winner will be notified.
