Join us at Lithgow Library to celebrate Law Week 2016 with an engaging talk on “Wills and Power of Attorney” by local solicitor Tim Le Fevre.
Through its partnership with the State Library of NSW’s Legal Information Access Centre (LIAC), Lithgow Library Learning Centre promotes the community’s access to legal information by making literature and information freely available with events such as this. Tim Le Fevre will talk about wills, power of attorney and associated issues in the upstairs Meeting Room of the Library on Friday 20 May at 10.30am. This free talk will be followed by light refreshments. Everyone is welcome and bookings can be made by calling the library on 6352 9100.
“I encourage members of the community interested in the issues associated with wills and powers of attorney to attend the talk by Mr Le Fevre to ask him any questions they might have,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor Maree Statham. “Events like this emphasize the library’s commitment to making information freely available to all.”
Providing a range of quality exhibitions and community programs that offer educational and social opportunities for all members of the community is part of Council’s Caring for the Community Strategy in the Community Strategic Plan 2026.
