BushExplorers Book Launch: Day Walks from Newnes: Part 3

Lithgow Library is delighted to welcome back the BushExplorers, to launch the third and final book in their series, Day Walks from Newnes.

With over 3,600 bushwalks behind them, Michael Keats, Brian Fox and Yuri Bolotin take you on adventure after adventure exploring the hidden gems of the Wollemi National Park. The latest book is about a spectrum of walking opportunities around Newnes that can be accomplished in a day trip from Sydney or other parts of the Blue Mountains.

It features spectacular lookouts, cliffs, rock formations, slots, passes, caves, overhangs, rainforest ravines, ledges and traverses, as well as Place Names Around Newnes and A History of Wolgan Valley Road. Come on in, accept the challenge and venture into the incomparable Wollemi.

Catch the BushExplorers and guest speaker Thomas Ebersoll on Saturday the 28th of November, from 9:30 at Lithgow Library. This is a free event, with tea, coffee and light refreshments provided.
