Are you struggling to use your mobile phone? Need to know how to access Facebook, take a photo, send a text message, or type a letter? Do you just need someone to help you understand a technical problem or fill in an online form? Lithgow Library has the solution for you.

During term 4, students from the Australian Health and Science Institute (AHSI) will be on hand to lend assistance with your technology problems. The students are undertaking work placement in Community Services and want to help people in the Lithgow community with their technology skills.

While the AHSI students are not IT experts, they have knowledge and know how to assist the technically challenged work through most of their general IT issues.  For people struggling with technology even mastering the basics can be difficult. Having someone with time and skills to help you work through it can be a benefit.

The one-on-one sessions are free and are not limited to just one session. Sessions will commence 17 October. Lithgow Library is currently taking expressions of interest from anyone interested in the sessions.

To register your interest or for more information contact Lithgow Library on 6352 9100 or email the library at lithgow.library@lithgow.nsw.gov.au.
