Come and enjoy National Simultaneous Storytime at the Lithgow Library on Wednesday the 22nd of May at 10.30am.
This year we will celebrate its 24th successful year with this years story “Bowerbird Blues” written by Aura Parker.
National Simultaneous Storytime is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children’s book that explores age-appropriate themes, and addresses key learning areas of the National Curriculum for Foundation to Year 6.
Lithgow Library will also be working in Collaboration with CentraCare with HIPPY Bowenfels assisting and attending the Library for this exciting event.
They will be supply a special craft to be enjoyed with the children and their families after the story.
We would like to thank CentraCare for collaborating with us and we can’t wait to see all our families all at this FREE event.
