Conversation with the Author – Karly Lane

Lithgow Library is truly delighted to be hosting – Karly LANE – for a special “Conversation with the Author” event on Saturday 15 August 2026.

Karly writes Rural and Women’s fiction set in small country towns, blending contemporary stories with historical heritage. She is a passionate advocate for rural Australia, with a focus on rural communities and current issues. She has published twenty-five books with Allen & Unwin. When she isn’t at her keyboard, Karly can be found hanging out with her beloved horses, goats and dogs, happily ignoring the housework on her property on the beautiful mid-North coast of New South Wales.

Karly will be visiting Lithgow Library and speaking about her life, her books and her future aspirations.
