🪁 It’s International Kite Day!🪁 It’s time to make a kite at Wallerawang Library! International Kite Day originated in India, in the state of Gujarat. The kite festival, called Uttarayan in Hindi, celebrates the day that winter ends and summer begins, as well as the upcoming harvest season.

📅 Dates & Times Kite making will commence 15th January at 10:00am and we will be hard at work until 11:30! Please arrive on time so you can spend lots of time making your kite beautiful! 📞 Bookings Places are limited, so make sure to book your ticket early! Can’t wait to see you there!
