Lithgow Library is offering free training in the use of history research tools to coincide with the History Council of NSW’s History Week 2022 with the theme of “Hands-On History”.

The Library invite you to come along on Tuesday 6 September to one-hour sessions from 10:00am-11:00am or 11:00am12:00pm for “Hands-On” help with various history research tools including TROVE, the Lithgow Library catalogue and websites that are useful to genealogy and history searching.

Library staff will demonstrate how to conduct searches and save newspaper articles. Guidance will also be given on how to get help with any issues you may be having using TROVE, and to navigate the library catalogue.
