Get ready to be part of the Lithgow City Council Libraries’ Seniors Festival 2023 event – Explore Exceptional People and Organisations, to be held 6-10 February 2023.

The festival will incorporate a series of mini expos and talks, technology classes, art workshops and an art competition. With the event to be held between 6 – 10 February there will be something for seniors of all ages.

As part of the festival Lithgow Library is inviting local seniors to enter the festival art competition. Artworks based on the theme of celebrating together can be completed in any medium including photography and sculpture. Entry to the competition is free but participants must be in the seniors (50+) age group. Entries close Monday 30 January 2023 and must be delivered to the Lithgow Library.

Organisations are also invited to be part of a series of mini expos at Lithgow Library between Monday 6 and Friday 10 February 2023. An expression of interest is extended to any local organisation who would like to participate by holding a small stall within the expo, and a five-minute talk on their organisation.  This will be an opportunity to let the community know about what your organisation does, membership and anything else the community needs to know about. If you are interested in being part of the expo, please email Lithgow Library at lithgow.library@lithgow.nsw.gov.au and library staff will be in contact.

More great activities including Tech Savvy Seniors and art workshops will also be on offer. For information on all library events head to the library webpage at library.lithgow.com.
